Cruises on Crimea - Caucasus line were very popular in USSR from 1930's to 1990's. Summer cruises along the scenic shores of Crimea and Caucasus have been an essential part of a vacation for soviet elite. The best soviet artists - Leonid Utesov, Vladimir Visotsky, Arkadiy Raykin, Mark Bernes and many other movie and theatre stars were taking as an honor an opportunity to perform on board of sea liners sailed every summer from Odessa. Tickets for Black Sea cruises were very hard to get and every season only one of five people who wanted to take a cruise could actually make it. During the cruise passengers could meet many famous people, start a romantic relationship but most of all, they had a really good time and lots of fun. Unfortunately, after collapse of Soviet Union in 1991, Black Sea cruises were discontinued.
Since 1991 there were lots of changes in the countries that have become independed but the main things are still there: beautiful nature, sea shore landscape, warm summer sea and a people's desire to spend a week in an atmosphere of a holiday and comfort.
In summer season 2007, after 16-year break Ukrainian National Carrier Shipping Company "Ukrferry" resumes cruises on a famous historical route of Crimea - Caucasus line Odessa - Yalta - Sochi - Istanbul - Odessa. There are going to be 3 cruises:

From August 12 to August 18
A classic 7-day cruise that we offer is different from the other travel options in terms of an interesting route along the coast of Black Sea, full service on board regardless of a cabin category, a large number of excursions in ports as well as a variety of entertainment program during the cruise. One of the main advantages is the fact that citizens of CIS don't need visas or exhausting air flights. Cruise capital of Black Sea Odessa is easily accessible by citizens of Ukraine, Russia and Belarus. For people from Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Lvov the driving to Odessa will take only 5-8 hours.
